Help

Hmmm. My guess: number 3. I love this game when it involves finding out more about people in my friends list! And I responded to the tag, too.
BUZZ! (an attempt to emulate that “wrong answer” sound in game shows) …
Number 3 is actually correct. I worked in Yosemite NP in the 1980s. After a grueling day-long hike with a couple of compadres, we spent the night on the summit, fitfully sleeping under the stars.
Now I gotta go check your list out …
Hmmmm…. I'm going to guess Number 8. Unless the Catholic Church has female clergy, but I thought they still don't. My church body doesn't. Sad.
Hi Doug!
BUZZ (wrong) on this one, too!
I attend a few different churches, and one of them is the Mary Magdalene, Apostle, Catholic Community. The priest, Jane Via, is one among several women who were ordained by some “renegade” bishops last year – after years of training and preparation. Of course she is not officially accepted as a priest by the institutional RC church (and has been threatened with excommunication), but she since she was ordained by a Catholic bishop in full apostolic succession, one could say that her priesthood is technically valid. The progressive Catholic community she serves has to meet in a Methodist church, though.
(Here's a link to Jane Via's first homily as a priest.)
heh heh.. I think it's number 1.
I bet you don't wear vamp style nail polish on your toenails but your fingernails!!
11. I hate fasting
Well, you might find the ideal or purpose of fasting enjoyable and wholesome -but the act itself? Surely not.
Hi Sandra and Daibhidh!
Sandra –
BUZZ! I do wear “rouge vamp” nail polish on my toenails, especially during sandal-wearing weather – although on occasion I'll wear it on my fingernails too. But more often it's the toenails with the fingernails remaining nekkid.
Daibhidh –
DING DING DING! You (kinda) nailed it, buddy! I do not hate healthy forms of fasting. While I may not always enjoy every moment of it when I'm engaging in it, I really do appreciate it for its health benefits and spiritual effects.
Now: remember, y'all: YOU HAVE BEEN TAGGED!
I would have guessed that the vamp-style toenail polish was a lie! Mary, how could you??
Since I've been tagged now, I'll be posting my random list soon.
–“Mary, how could you??”
LOL! Well, I do have to let my inner vamp out to play sometimes… :D
